Worship Café

What is worship café?

Our cafe style Sunday experience is designed to encourage inclusivity, conversation, and comfort. Our connection time lasts between 75-90 minutes, but all are welcome to come and go as they like. We view this weekly moment as an important spiritual practice and our paradigm is not one of a scheduled program, but rather a social gathering of people convening with un-rushed intentionality. We can’t wait to meet you!

The pre-experience 10:15- 10:30

Come early and grab your coffee, small bite and get settled.  We encourage early arrival so you can mingle with neighbors, choose a seat and take a few moments to eat/drink.

On the first and third Sunday of each month, we serve Hot Breakfast Sandwiches by Scotty! (Served from 10:00-10:20am)

The main experience 10:30-11:45

10:30-11:15

The teaching portion of our Sunday experience begins exactly at 10:30. Inspired by the Genesis creation event where God speaks and all life is a response to God’s voice, we too listen to the message first then take time to respond in worship. 

 11:15-11:30

During this window we process our emotions through music allowing the word that was spoken to move through our emotions in worship to God.  At times, Dr. Jeffrey poses discussion questions for each table to engage in a time of intellectual processing.

 11:30-11:45

Following a brief weekly announcements, we send everyone off with a lovely benediction to carry into the week.  The benediction is a community favorite! 

 11:45-12:15

Our doors remain open for people to stay, talk and visit. In addition, those wanting to be prayed for can visit our prayer corner to receive prayer from a community member.
