Friday Nights at 8pm starting at 1337
SF MEALS on HEELS believes that God loves everyone, including those who are struggling with homelessness and addiction. This belief calls us to exemplify that love through the hot food and listening ears we provide on Friday nights in the Tenderloin and surrounding neighborhoods.
But the greatest need is very basic and easy to meet. Most of the people we meet need to feel human again — they need to be recognized by society, smiled at, listened to with sincerity, prayed for with earnestness, and hugged tightly with love.
It is a first step of empowerment, and one that sf MEALS on HEELS is committed to initiating.
