San Francisco Lighthouse

Lighthouse is a diverse community of peoples who are disciples (students) of Jesus’ teachings and way of life. Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ who make disciples.

The Holy Spirit accomplishes this calling as we declare the good news of all that God is and has done for us in Jesus Christ. He is at work among us as we demonstrate this good news by the way we love each other as the family of God, by the acts of kindness and works of justice we display in San Francisco, and by the intentionality with which we live our daily lives.

We practice making disciples in community—both the church community and neighborhood communities. We call these Beloved Communities, little communities of people in various neighborhoods living out their call as family of missionaries who serve their neighbors with the love of Jesus.

We are the Beloved, following in the tradition of the Beloved Disciple (John 13; 19; 20; 21).

We gather each Sunday (9:30/11:00) to develop as disciples, to remember Jesus, to worship and to celebrate what God is doing in San Francisco.
